- It pours beautifully - not a trickle, not a flood, no drips!
- It is relatively quiet
- 360 degree base unit makes it easy to replace the kettle on the base from any angle
- The lid is firm enough not to fall off, but not so stiff as to make it inconvenient
- A retractable electric cord which can be anything from 23cm to 70cm and is shortened by winding the cord round under the base (hidden from sight).

Things I would change:
- The limitations of the see-through guage (starts at 4 cups while the 'minimum' volume is 1 cup)
- The spout is wide enough to fill the kettle through it which makes that very tempting, although the instructions say not to fill it this way (no explanation why not).

Other observations:
- The element is concealed
- A blue light in the on/off switch glows when the kettle is on.

All kettles really need to do is boil water, and this one boils water as well as any other kettle. This kettle though would probably appeal to someone who wants a bit more than the usual standard white plastic version. It's very stylish with sleek lines and fashionable eye popping colours. I have the green one and it matches in very well with other green accessories from different manufacturers. If you want lime green - this one will be the right colour. However it does have a few niggling problems. Firstly the instructions tell you not to fill the kettle through the spout, but the lid is small and difficult to remove and put back. It's fiddly and does not click back in place easily. The second problem with this kettle is that although it will boil one cup of water, and the instructions recommend only boiling the amount you need, the water gauge only starts at 4 cups, and then does not register unless you give the kettle a bit of a shake. These are not big problems, but they will niggle every time I fill up my kettle.
