3.7 Out Of 5 Stars (3 Customer Reviews)Reviews for Morphy Richards Accents 43836 Jug Kettle, Stainless Steel (Kitchen & Home) I don't know about you but we seem to go through kettles on a regular basis ... it doesn't seem to matter if a kettle costs £5 or £50 something always seems to go wrong within a short space of time [the light, the lid, it leaks, it becomes too noisy etc...]. The Morphy Richards Accents 43836 - after 1 month of use - appears to be an average kettle in terms of boiling time, noise and looks ... but in its' defense it appears to present good value in terms of quality finish and feel. Who knows what the next few months may bring but at the moment I think we have got a half decent kettle. Watch this space .....

I bought this brush steel kettle from Southern Electric via EBay on 4 February. The item was classified as "NEW" and the selling price was £28.82. When the item arrived on 8 February, delivered by City Link at 18:35, it was in the original box. The box was not sealed. After close examination in the morning day light, I discovered the kettle could be a factory second. There were at least 3 cosmetic blemishes "manufacturing defects" on the surface of this kettle. Unfortunately, I boiled the water twice last night. I blamed myself that I should have a closer examination before I used it. The more I look at it, I hatred it. I thought I would trust a well known electric supplier, and how they described their products, but I was wrong. I am very disappointed and I think buyer should be warned when purchasing items from Southern Electric.
