Reviews for 1.7 Litre 360 Cordless Kettle in Black Previous 3 kettles have been so noisy as soon as turned on making it difficult to hear the radio or phone. This one is so quiet I have to check the light to be sure it is on! It does make some noise when hot but nothing like previous models all 'big' makes. The flip top is great for filling as the old one was difficult through the spout and usually splashed out. It is also so much lighter in weight than previous. There is a sensibly large water level viewer on both sides so OK for left or right handers, old one had a narrow strip impossible to see. It boils in much the same time as the old 3kW one. I wasn't sure about the black finish but it looks great! Less than half the price of previous kettle! Pours well.
I got mine from Ryness Lighting & Electrical -speedy delivery! Which was great as old one had died.

Reviews for 1.7 Litre 360 Cordless Kettle in Black I was fed up with replacing £50 kettles every 6 months (the last 2), and so wanted a cheap but efficient one. This is good looking and easy to fill - a press of a button and the lid flips up. I have not caught my fingers on this switch, but you might if you are a man with very large hands. There is no plastic small or taste which you sometimes get with a new kettle, but I boiled it and ditched the water 3 times before use. The positive thing in my mind, is that is is quiet and quick. Most kettles seem to be 3kw, and this is 2.2kw. However I don't think that there is any discernible difference in boil times to my old 3kw kettle.
