3.5 Out Of 5 Stars (11 Customer Reviews)Reviews for Morphy Richards 43559 Brita Filter Black Stainless Steel Jug Kettle (Kitchen & Home) That device is almost unusable. We had a BRITA Acclario for several years which my wife managed to heat up waterless... and were looking for a modern replacement. But the Morphy Richards does everything wrong.
1. You can't see exactly how much filtered water is in the kettle.
2. You can't see at all how much un-filtered water is in the upper tank.
3. You can't see how clean the water still is.
4. You can't tell, whether the water was already boiled or not - there was an indicator switch on the old kettle
5. The filler is crap.
However, my wife likes the blue light while boiling and the overall design. Nevertheless I wished I could get it replaced by a proper one.
Reviews for Morphy Richards 43559 Brita Filter Black Stainless Steel Jug Kettle (Kitchen & Home) This was a fairly expensive kettle and I wouldn't particularly recommend it to anyone. If you hold it at an angle whilst filling it from the tap you tend to lose half the water. Also I find it different to have the filling display on the filling reservoir rather than on the kettle reservoir.
Reviews for Morphy Richards 43559 Brita Filter Black Stainless Steel Jug Kettle (Kitchen & Home) This sylish quick boiling kettle is very heavy, more so when filled with water. The filler is fiddly and not suitable for putting under the tap! If you want to save energy by heating less than 3 cups at a time think again. Once there are less than four cups in the kettle you can't see through the opaque side even with the light on. Unless you want warm water you'll need to check all the water has filtered through to the bottom and that is not easy. Overall disappointing value for your money.
