A VERY noisy kettle to boil, only purchased in Sept 07 and already falling apart. There is a crack developed in the black plastic part of the lid (the lid incidentally is very hard to pull off). There is also a strange leak from the handle. A small puddle of water drips from the end of the handle, but I don't know how the water gets into it in the first place. Overall not very happy with the quality of this kettle - considering the cost it is poor value for money.

Reports of the metallic taste you will find on the internet are very justified. We complained to Delonghi who replaced the kettle saying it must be faulty, but this was the same.
