This Morphy Richards Kettle is one fine piece of engineering as it has a sturdy base, big chunky handle that is very hard to drop with a non-slip feel, good pouring spout so there's little drippage, and a clear water gauge to show the level of water you've put in complete with minimum and maximum levels. Added to that is the sleek blue design, strong flick on switch (which has automatic cut off when boiled) and clear red 'on' light at the base to show it's started heating.

The Morphy Richards Accents Pyramid Kettle kept on coming up with excellent reviews so we decided to purchase one. We ordered it from the Amazon.co.uk website and it arrived within a couple of days which was amazing and we were very pleased and impressed with it. We have been using it for approximately 6 weeks now - my husband is a serious coffee drinker so the kettle is used a lot! - and I can't fault it. It's fast, beautifully stylish and we are delighted with it. I notice that some people comment on the noise - however, it boils so quickly, it's not a problem. Other people have commented that the lid is a bit tight to get off to refill it, but if you actually read the instructions, it tells you to fill it through the spout, so the top doesn't need to come off. The colour is beautiful and the kettle is really easy to keep clean - just a wipe over with a damp cloth. All in all, an excellent kettle and we would purchase another one without hesitation.

Easy to fill through spout (even husband can do it). Slightly noisy when boiling, but boils so fast not a problem.
