It boils very quickly and most of all it's nice and bright. It's not too in your face pink but a strong, deep pink that compliments my colour scheme nicely.

What a change from my previous boring stainless steel set. I'm not sure if any kettle can be considered a thing of beauty but trust me this is as close as it gets :-)

The superb quality of design and finish with this item were immediately apparent in taking it out of the box.

It boils really quickly, has a lit on/off button at base, a push button to open the lid to fill (I hate filling from the spout), a soft grip handle, and a really nice touch is that the fill indicator is based on number of cups and not mls.

Well done kenwood, it is an absolute pleasure to use.

But not a horrid pink, a really nice shade. Also I love the soft touch handle and the button for opening the lid is brilliant. It is well balanced when you pick it up with or without water in it and it has all the features that you would look for in a kettle like a water gauge, "on" light and it boils water! My flatmate says the lid looks like a pedal bin lid but I really like it.
