Reviews for Russell Hobbs 18152 Kettle in Stainless Steel (Kitchen & Home) This kettle works quickly if somewhat noisily. It is easy to fill and use. The image, however, is a little misleading - we nearly did not buy it as it looks as if it has a black stripe and we wanted a pure metal kettle.

It is smart and elegant, boils very quickly and easy to clean. One little annoying thing [which is not too important] it is quite hard to see the water level as one fills the kettle from the tap.....I have learned to 'hear' when the kettle sounds full! However, in spite.....I recommend this item without hesitation. Thankyou.

No line down side, black ring round base is straight, not turned up as shown, so manufacturer's logo is centred on side. Only had this a week, was worried about steam from switch, but may have been from water evaporating on exterior.
