Wasn't disappointed. Problem is, I put it to one side to use at a later date as my existing kettle was still ok. Decided to use at Christmas, thus returns policy out of date. Kettle is lovely but the switch will not stay down to boil the thing! It takes several goes or standing there holding the switch down. I know I should have checked it out first but wasn't expecting a problem so if you get one of these, check it straight away. Also, if you fill it to max, when you pour, it does tend to splutter.

The stylish design fits in my traditional kitchen beautifully and the kettle is pleasing to use and extremely quick to boil. The narrow-ish spout is no problem at all and very accurate and I particularly like the design of the top handle which feels sturdy and safe. All of the kettle's components, including the lid, the handle and the switch feel well-made and durable. This is a huge improvement on my last kettle and well worth the price.

I have had it for about 2months as so far am extremely happy with it, it looks smart and its easy to fill and pour.
