The Breville VKJ332 cream stainless steel traditional kettle combines classic design with high performance. It is high wattage--3 kilowatt (kW)--keeping the boiling time short to save you time and has a concealed element. This makes it easier to clean and more energy efficient than an immersed element, requiring a lower minimum water level in order to function safely. It has a capacity of 1.7 litres (l) and so can accommodate about six to eight cups--ideal for families. The VKJ332 is designed with a rear water gauge indicating water level to help you fill the kettle to the desired amount. The cream finish and traditional shape give your kettle a sophisticated style. Reviews for Breville VKJ332 Cream Stainless Steel Traditional Kettle (Kitchen & Home) Originally I was pleased with this product although it does make a fair racket when it boils. However, after not much use the little knob at the top of the lid snapped off. After contacting Breville customer service, they said it was out of guarantee (1 year) and as they didn't stock parts it was basically tough. As they still make these kettles they could have sent a replacement but obviously couldn't be bothered. I suggest you buy another make of kettle.
