Reviews for Judge Traditional Whistling Kettle with Phenolic Fitt 2Ltr (Kitchen & Home) I am delighted with this kettle. It is a beautiful shape with a lovely finish. The handle is very easy to hold and, even when full, the kettle does not spill or drip when you pour out its contents.
It is very easy to keep clean - just a quick wipe and rub up with dry cloth and it looks like you just took it out of the box. The whistle is extremely loud - my neighbours now know when I am having a cuppa - so you will not boil it dry. It is also very easy to remove the whistle with 2 fingers either side of the little handle which stays cool to the touch. Just wait for it to stop steaming otherwise you will burn yourself.

It is important not to overfill it, or it will boil over and leave hard to remove lime deposits. Also, make sure it is on the right size stove ring. The flames should not come round the bottom rim or the stainless steel will discolour. I use my smallest ring and the kettle still boils within 3 minutes when filled to capacity. Re delivery and packing - took about 7 - 10 days for it to come but it was worth waiting for and excellently packaged. Very reasonable price too, compared to other sites offering the same item. Recommend both the item and the company.
