Reviews for Magimix Brushed Stainless Steel Jug Kettle with Charcoal Handle, 1.8L (Kitchen & Home) When I got my Magimix kettle it came with a 3 year warranty and I have needed it. After 2 years it has been replaced twice.

The first kettle developed a leak after a few months and was replaced.

The second kettle developed problems with the lid opening when it boiled and occasionally the release button jammed. this has also been replaced.

While the kettle is nice and the service has been good, this is very expensive for a kettle and should not need regular replacement. If there is a problem after the guarantee runs out I won't replace it with another Magimix.

Yes it does have its share of negative reviews,and as is the norm, the negative reviews normally hit the press first!(And quite rightly too!).

So OK,this is up there with the expensive ones and not everyone will want to spend this amount on a cup of tea (or coffee for that matter), but this looks like it should be a "get what you pay for" item.
