Reviews for Eco3 Eco Kettle (with Temperature Control) This Stainless steel version with a ball-shaped plunger is not nearly as good as the previous (though less good-looking) white Eco kettle. When you push the plunger down to release water into the boiling chamber, it is easy to
leave it ever so slightly open, which means that it will then leak boiling water over you.
ALthough it boils a single cup very quickly and relatively quietly, it does take a long time for the auto switch-off to stop the kettle. I will be returning mine because of the leaking.
Reviews for Eco3 Eco Kettle (with Temperature Control) Just not well designed, and for this price you expect something exceptional. Temperature control is nice, in theory, but I don't find it useful. The reservoir design is only useful if you rarely boil a large quantity of water (like you really make single cups). We use the kettle for both tea, and coffee, and for cooking. For coffee, it is often not enough water, and for cooking (like rapid boil for pasta) it just doesn't boil enough water. I would look elsewhere.
Reviews for Eco3 Eco Kettle (with Temperature Control) I bought this teapot for energy saving and for making green tea. I have had it for about one month now and I am very pleased with it. I have had no trouble with the plunger, but I did find that the lid leaked occasionally at first. This was because it wasn't fully seated and a gentle push on the rim to check before pouring completely solved the problem. Other than that it does everything claimed very well. My only other comment would be a request for some future version to go to lower temperatures such as 60C and 70C.
